1. Program description
RUNROO Racing Services (operated by RunRoo Ventures LLC) is a Fort Worth, Texas race management and timing company that produces community 5K events with nonprofit partners. We send text messages only to people who have checked the separate text message consent box on one of the forms listed below. Texts go out from our toll-free number, (855) 817-0490. Messages include race reminders and countdowns, packet pickup and race-morning logistics, race-day updates, post-race results links, volunteer shift confirmations and reminders, replies to questions people send us, and occasional promotional announcements about upcoming races and offers. Every message identifies RUNROO and includes opt-out and help instructions.
2. Data sharing statement
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing with subcontractors and service providers is permitted only as necessary to support services requested by the customer, such as scheduling, customer service, payment processing, and messaging delivery. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
3. Opt-in paths
Every form with a phone field uses the same two separate text message consent boxes, with the same wording: one for transactional messages and one for promotional messages. The email newsletter box is separate and never grants text consent. A phone number given without checking a text box is never used for texts.

On the text alerts page the mobile number is required and checkbox 1 must be checked to enroll; checkbox 2 stays optional. On every other form the phone field and both boxes are optional, and the form submits normally with them unchecked.
